Founded in Seoul in 2026, KAMDA is Korea’s first independent Actor-Musicianship education and creative academy. It is for artists who want to develop voice, body, music and sensory awareness as one integrated performance language, helping each artist connect what they already carry and create both independently and collectively.

Introduction to
Actor-Musicianship
This is not a class that measures acting, singing or instrumental technique. It asks how each artist's voice, body and musical awareness can become action and story.
Through KAMDA's Hybrid Practice, participants encounter part of an Actor-Musicianship methodology, then devise and share a three-to-six-minute ensemble scene integrating music, text and movement from a given provocation.
The session unfolds with live music throughout. Bring an instrument if you have one; no instrument is required. Voice, rhythm and the body are equally valid musical resources.

An actor-musician is not simply someone who is both an actor and a musician. They choose how instrument, voice, body, text, sound and movement meet—and shape those relationships into a language of performance.
The precision of commercial production and the devising sensibility of independent practice are not separate paths. They overlap and expand, producing performers who are more versatile, distinctive and difficult to replace.
